Ambulance Film Screening – April 15

Hello Beloved Philadelphians,

I’ve returned, and I want to invite you to a special FREE BlackStar film screening on Monday April 15, 7pm at Slought, of the Palestinian film Ambulance directed by my dear friend Mohamed Jabaly. We’re very lucky to have Mohamed in attendance with us for a post-screening Q&A

The film was shot during the 2014 Israeli massacre of the Palestinians in Gaza, as Mohamed follows EMTs who rescue people from rubble, sniper fire, and Israeli ground invasion. It’s an important film that will raise complex ideas and questions and will give you a perspective of the frequent Israeli attacks on the Palestinians of Gaza that you’ve never seen before.

This is Mohamed’s first time in Philly. Please also consider that this film may not be appropriate for children as it has some graphic imagery.
