What We Do

Our structure supports our work through the involvement of our members in three ongoing Working Groups that promote our core values and our mission. These include education, awareness and networking, and advocacy action.

Awareness and Networking

  • Collaboration and networking within the national and global community around advocacy to help create a critical mass for movement-building
  • Promote our presence, support, and connections within the wider intersecting communities through courses, webinars, films, speakers, events, actions, and legislation.

Education

  • Develop, create, organize, and offer courses, forums, film, book, speakers, and discussion groups to educate about the history and all aspects of the current realities in historic Palestine.
  • Present Palestine as a lens for understanding intersecting global injustice for all people everywhere.
  • Define, identify, and speak out against antisemitism and all forms of oppression.
  • Make a clear and unambiguous the distinction between Zionism and Judaism.
  • Clearly distinguish criticism of Israel from antisemitism.

Advocacy Action

  • Legislative visits and lobbying in support of our mission.
  • Promote local, national, and global campaigns of boycott, divestment, and sanctions of Israel until the demands of the BDS Call in 2005 are met.
