I wanted to share this little piece of good news during these difficult times.
Europcar is the biggest car rental company in Europe, and since last year it has operated in Israel through an Israeli company called Albar. Albar for years had car rental facilities in the illegal Israeli settlements of Beitar Iliit and Modi’in Illit. We have recently discovered that shortly after the agreement between Albar and Europcar went into effect, these two branches were closed. An email exchange with a company representative confirmed that they had no other branches in the settlements.
