This could be a game-changer. If the UN Blue Helmets intervene between Israel and the Palestinians, that could officially define Palestinians as an oppressed minority and Israel as an aggressor.
Complicating the picture is that many Palestinian residents of Gaza have been killed and many more wounded, but even though they were unarmed during the Great March of Return protests, they were in the act of moving toward the border fence. Even though the Israeli response was grossly disproportionate, they were arguably defending themselves.
