Gaza’s economy is being sanctioned by both President Abbas of the West Bank and by the US, both of which are pushing unemployment in Gaza sky-high. World bank is now warning that economy of Gaza is in free-fall.
“The economic deterioration in both Gaza and West Bank can no longer be counteracted by foreign aid, which has been in steady decline, nor by the private sector, which remains confined by restrictions on movement, access to primary materials and trade,” the [World Bank] said.
