So while casualties have dropped considerably since right after the Jerusalem embassy was opened up in May, the Great March of Return protests by Palestinians on the Gaza-Israel border have continued every week. The latest Israeli attack on the city of Gaza was a retaliation against 150 rockets being fired from what was termed “enemy positions in the Gaza envelope.”
Israel is reportedly amassing tanks and other armored vehicles around Gaza. Egypt is trying to mediate.
