It was reported that a group of settlers from Gitit colony attacked Palestinian farmers with stones and sticks when they attempted to work land belonging to villages of Aqraba and Majdal Bnei Pedal.

Israel arrests Palestinians suspected of killing settler

“The four [Palestinian men] are suspected of firing at least ten bullets at a car, killing 25-year-old religious student Yehuda Dimentman and injuring two fellow students as they drove out of Homesh, an illegal outpost in the northern West Bank.

“The army said the suspects were caught in the village of Silat al-Harithiyah, in the Jenin governorate in the northern West Bank.”

’Israel’s prime minister says settler violence is ‘marginal’

Israel’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett: “There are marginal elements in every community, and they should be dealt with using all means, but we must not generalize about an entire community.”

“There are multiple attempts to do the ‘both sides’ narrative here, in order to reduce the onus of Israel’s systemic settler-colonialist violence. While Bennett’s attempt is egregious and Shaked’s even more crass, Bar-Lev himself is also guilty of blaming.”

PA calls on UN, US to stop settler violence, activate international protection

“In the statement, the PA’s ministry condemned: ‘The escalation of the systematic attacks by settlers that took place today against Palestinian towns and villages, especially in Nablus’s villages of Qaryut and Burqa.’

“According to the statement, the PA’s ministry also condemned Israeli settlers’ attacks on the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood and other places, which left dozens injured.”
