Blogger reviews history of Palestine under Israeli occupation since US President Bill Clinton introduced the Oslo Peace Accords in 1993. Israel has gotten many advantages since then. Palestinians? Not so much.
Abbas is trying to end a very one-sided arrangement that has done Palestinians very little good. Not entirely clear how it will all shake out.
How helpful is the EU likely to be? Probably not very.
